I'm the founder of Robertson Bookkeeping, and my journey began long before my formal qualifications - on a farm in Western Australia. Growing up surrounded by hard work, resourcefulness and community shaped the way I see the world. It taught me the value of showing up, solving problems and taking pride in doing things well. Those early lessons still guide the heart of my business today.
My interest in money management started young. I still remember saving every spare coin to buy my first camera - a small but defining moment that sparked a lifelong fascination with how money works and how it can empower people when handled with clarity and intention.
Over the years, that curiosity took me around the world. Travelling opened my eyes to how differently people live, work and build their futures. It taught me adaptability, empathy and the value of truly listening - qualities that now sit at the heart of my brand. Along the way, I built a family, grounding me even further in the importance of stability, trust and being present for the people who rely on you.
Professionally, I bring more than 30 years of experience across tax, management and financial accounting within Western Australia. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, I'm a CPA-qualified accountant, a qualified bookkeeper, a certified Xero advisor, a registered BAS agent, and a member of the Australian Bookkeeping Network. These credentials form the technical backbone of Robertson Bookkeeping - but the soul of the brand is the human approach behind them.
My passion is simplifying the murky waters so clients can regain control of their business and their life. I'm here to solve problems, build trust and be fully present. When your numbers make sense, everything else feels lighter.
Outside of work, you'll find me taking ocean dips to re-energise, growing olives and processing them into olive oil, or volunteering at community events. These moments keep me grounded and remind me why I do what I do: to help people build businesses that support the lives they want to live.
